Civil registry documents (births, deaths and marriages)

In Australia, the registration of births, deaths and marriages, changes of name, changes of sex, adoptions and provision of certificates is the responsibility of the State and Territory Governments. These documents must be requested directly in Australia with the relevant State or Territory Registrar.
